LENA NGUYEN
Hi there! I’m Lena, a multimedia artist from the Seattle, WA currently earning my Masters in Design & Technology at Parsons School of Design in New York City.
In my world, whimsy rules over all. Instead of wondering why, I ask myself, “why not?” I believe that for the soul to speak freely, we must first create a space of nonjudgment within the mind.
When we focus too much on a single step, we fail to see the whole picture.
Technically speaking, my work falls under various umbrellas. I simply enjoy the act of creating.
Above all, I create to connect.

why
BLUE?
Throughout my life, I’ve always felt a creative kinship with the color blue.
Logically, I could trace this affinity for blue back to the solitude I found within my childhood bedroom walls or the shifting moods of Washington’s waters.
Quietly, blue wove itself into my life.
It was simply always there, steady and sure.
Blue became my constant, my comfort, carrying itself effortlessly into my practices.
Even if the hue changes, the depth remains.
